Our Goals

Greetings to the POWERHOUSE Professionals,

The Region III Professionals Executive Board (R3PEB) is incredibly excited to welcome the 2024-2025 NSBE new year as we collectively “seek to inspire the next generation of technical professionals and serve as a catalyst for transforming the culture of engineering.” As dynamic professional Black engineers, we are empowered to grow our communities by providing our skills, experiences, and perspectives in engineering to better our local, regional, and global communities.

Our Region III Professionals vision is comprised of the 3Rs. The first R is to Re-Engage our chapters and at-large members in quarterly town halls and monthly chapter engagements. The second R is Requirements to Charter whereas our focus is to help chapters reactive and help interest groups charter. The last R is Readiness whereas we are committed to providing professional webinar content bi-monthly. All of these opportunities provide a space where innovation meets inclusivity in programming.

For a rewarding membership year, please stay in the know with NSBE, NSBE Professionals, and the NSBE Region III Professionals! Start the year on the path to success by joining/renewing your membership by visiting www.nsbe.org and select JOIN! Please be sure to update your contact information in the MyNSBE membership portal i.e., please be sure to select your local chapter.

Thank you for bringing your talents and passion to the NSBE Region III Professionals. We look forward to working with you, learning from your experiences, and celebrating the remarkable achievements of our members. In our community, you will find a supportive network of peers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with being a Black engineer. We are dedicated to providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities for collaboration that will empower you to achieve your goals and make meaningful advancements in your career. Together, we can drive progress, celebrate successes, and overcome obstacles. You are welcome to a space where your voice matters and your potential is limitless with the Region III Professionals.

In Servant Leadership,
Naomie Baptiste

Information regarding the Open Enrollment Campaign

We open enrollment for the new membership cycle on May 1st each year which will allow members an additional 2 months to renew and receive benefits. Please note that membership subscriptions are not prorated. However, if you plan on renewing your membership mid-year to qualify for registration discounts or other benefits, that is fine. However, please be aware that renewing a membership following the Annual Convention will only grant you a subscription that lasts for only a month or less. We strongly recommend waiting until May 1st to maximize your investment.
