Our Goals

Facilitate regional harmony:

We’ll expand the connections & relationships with the region & the Region III Executive Board and the resources to provide for our members.

Promote regional growth & progress:

We’ll be advancing the leadership experience, increase the cross-membership demographics collaboration, and provide financial support for Region III

Promote Membership Awareness:

To showcase the story of our Region III members through the impact the organization had on their experience, the achievements our members receive, and finally to show what it means to be a Black Engineer

United for Harmony, Growth,
& Community Awareness

Greetings NSBE Family,

My name is Tyler Saunders, and I’m a 5th year Mechanical Engineering student at Kennesaw State University. Serving as your Region III Chairperson for the 2024-2025 year, it’s an honor to welcome you alongside the POWERFUL Region III Executive Board to the “POW3RHOUSE Region” and/or the R3ADY Region. I’m thrilled to be on this journey with you all.

Region III consists of the most energetic, innovative and determined community. From our pre-collegiate students, collegiate students, and technical professional members that are across the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Mississippi, as well as the Caribbean’s.

A little bit about me, before serving as your Chairperson, I previously served as the Region III Membership Chair last term and before served as Membership Chair for my chapter. During those 2 years in my leadership, I was given the chance to bond and build connections & relationships with first the community within my chapter then later the community of the entire Region III. To be able to have the chance to hear the passion & determination, the concerns & confusions, and to hear all the different & unique stories had led me to give back to the members and to have them have the chance to receive a better experience and opportunities than I had as a member.

Which led to my vision of:
“To foster regional harmony, drive growth & progress, and to raise membership awareness
within our community”
