NSBE SEEK

Partnerships
Partner with NSBE SEEK to expand access to hands-on engineering education and give young students the opportunity to see themselves as future engineers, technologists and problem-solvers.

Early STEM Exposure Can Shape What Students Believe Is Possible

The Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (NSBE SEEK) introduces students in grades 3–5 to engineering through a free, three-week summer experience built around hands-on learning, exploration and problem-solving.

For 20 years, SEEK has helped students from communities historically underrepresented in STEM build confidence, curiosity and critical-thinking skills while discovering how engineering can influence the world around them.

Through engineering design challenges and inclusive learning experiences, students do more than learn about STEM. They begin to imagine themselves as the engineers, technologists and leaders of tomorrow.

Expanding Access. Building Confidence. Strengthening the STEM Pipeline.

SEEK advances NSBE’s mission to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers by creating meaningful STEM exposure early in a student’s educational journey.

Discover engineering and STEM disciplines through hands-on experiences.

Develop problem-solving, collaboration and critical-thinking skills.

Build confidence in their ability to pursue STEM education and careers.

Understand how thoughtful, inclusive engineering can positively impact communities.

Proven Impact.
Measurable Outcomes.

The impact of NSBE SEEK extends beyond the classroom. Through ongoing program evaluation, SEEK measures how students grow in STEM knowledge, engineering confidence and their ability to see themselves as future engineers. The results highlight the lasting value of early STEM exposure and the meaningful difference your partnership can make.
