Montgomery Professionals

The NSBE Montgomery Professionals  welcomed more than 150 attendees (students, parents and volunteers) to their Annual Engineering Day at the Park on August 27, 2016 at Oak Park in Montgomery, AL.



E-Day at the Park is a free community event that allows K–12th grade students an opportunity to participate in a number of hands-on activities and experiences focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.).

Students also enjoyed free food, refreshments and door prizes!!

NSBE Montgomery Professionals June General Body meeting was held on the campus of Alabama State University. NSBE MP hosted a free Financial Planning Seminar open to the public. Financial Planner Greg Clark of Prudential gave great financial advice for both students and professionals!!


NSBE Montgomery Professionals is visited the Montgomery Education Foundation's Brain Forest Summer Reading on Wheels program on June 28th at Flatwood Community Center. The program provides students throughout Montgomery County with a mobile library and hands on STEM based projects. NSBE MP is partnering with MEF to help assist with the STEM component of their program.


NSBE Montgomery Professionals was invited to the campus of Alabama State University on June 30th for the ASU UNITE Career Day Program. ASU UNITE is a pre-college summer program for talented high school students historically underrepresented and underserved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects. We are happy to learn that ASU will soon add a Biomedical Engineering program!!
